At the Finish, Only One Team Clears the Course

Securing the overall win, the duo of Matt Hayes and Glen Lewis of Strong Machine Adventure Racing were the only team to clear the entire course at the 2025 Maine Summer Adventure Race. The team of two went out fast from the start and never looked back. They kept a steady lead over the rest of the field through the entire race with solid navigation and a flat out refusal to slow down at any point. Taking second place overall and first in the Premier Coed Division was team VERT who finished just moments after Strong Machine and with just one fewer checkpoint. Glen and Matt earn top spot bragging rights and USARA + ARWS points but VERT will etch their names into the prestigious MSAR trophy and will punch their ticket to the 2025 USARA National Championship in Bentonville, AR.
