Longest Day Map Board Survey
The Longest Day just started and while everyone is out on the first trek, I did a little informal mountain bike map board survey of the teams. Here are the results:
Autopilot: 14
ARNavsupplies: 8
Nordenmark: 4
Fibril: 3
Homemade/DIY: 2
Kanpas: 1
Miry: 1
This is a pretty wide distribution for a race field of this size, and given our location, the top 2 on the list are not surprises. Notably however, the brands Nordenmark and Fibril are starting to make up a bigger proportion of the field.
We can add one more new map board to the list too: at the end of the race, we gave away a brand new Katana mountain bike map board. The lucky winner was Fred Bouchard of Canadian team Les Joyeux Noufrages (in English: “The Happy Castaways”)
