The First Stages
With no short prologue, the Tug Hill Extreme’s field of teams would need to separate themselves quickly on a fast road ride to the Sand Flats State Park for the first of several ROGAINE style treks. The ground was soft from rain the night before and some areas were much wetter than some hoped. Many racers were dealing with wet shoes from the get go. Still, a huge portion of the field managed to clear this section.
