A message from the race director

Race director, co-course designer and Green Mountain Adventure Racing Association president, Chris Yaeger has put a lot of time and effort into this year’s USARA Nationals course. He is rightly proud of what should be an epic course with LOTS of elevation gain. The Green Mountain Adventure Racing Association (GMARA) typically holds two adventure races each year: The Bitter Pill, a summer race, and the Frigid Infliction that takes place in the deep Vermont winter. This is GMARA’s first time hosting the US National Championship and they have put together a course that should challenge the best racers.
