Tower Racing Makes the Transition to Bikes Again

At the front of the field, more teams are coming into TA3 fighting for podium spots. Tower Racing’s Jameson Henkle is always full of stoke for adventure racing, and it looks like now is no exception. After experiencing the relatively flat first three stages of the race, Tower is now ready to hit the part of this year’s course that contains most of the elevation gain. Coming up next for them is a ride into Smuggler’s notch and two extremely difficult foot navigation sections. As the difficulty ratchets up, Jameson correctly notes, “Now we’re about to start the race.”

As a side note, check out the Adventure Racing best practice here: Always take care of your feet! Whatever you use to keep your feet in good shape during an adventure race, make sure you re-apply, especially after a long paddle!
